Drama Explodes on The Young and the Restless Thursday, August 7: Victor Schemes with Lily Against Cane – Claire Threatens Audra!
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, August 7, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will recruit Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) for revenge on Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) while Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) threatens Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
At the coffeehouse, Victor will join Lily and Devon Winters (Bryton James) as they all discuss Cane’s return to Genoa City. Although Lily will want to keep her distance, Victor will have another idea about how to handle her former flame.
It turns out Victor will make a pitch to Lily and try to convince her to become part of his vengeful Cane scheme. Lily may argue that she doesn’t want to target Cane, but Victor might counter that it’s the only way he’ll get the message that their romantic reunion isn’t happening.
Regardless, Cane clearly has big corporate plans in GC, so Victor will feel like they need to band together and fight back. Victor might contend that Lily is Cane’s weakness and suggest that she can use his lingering love to manipulate him.
Lily won’t agree to any of this right away, but there’s a chance she could be persuaded to join Victor’s plot eventually. It’ll be interesting to hear Devon’s perspective as well, so stay tuned for his reaction to Victor’s proposal.
Speaking of proposals, Claire and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have one for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) once they head to Newman Media. That’s where Adam will learn Kyle and Claire are still hoping to move in his old apartment.
Since Victor previously warned Adam not to make this deal, that could leave him with some reservations. Adam is already on thin ice with Victor over the Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) hit pieces, so he may be hesitant to cause even more problems with his father.
Nevertheless, Kyle will fight hard to reach an agreement since he knows this apartment would make Claire happy. Claire is determined to lock in the perfect place and certainly doesn’t mind if it sends a message to Victor in the process.
At some point on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Claire will seek Audra out and toss some threats around. After getting updates on Audra’s efforts to seduce Kyle on Victor’s orders, Claire will warn Audra to move on or else!
Now that Audra has failed, Claire won’t want her rival thinking she can keep stirring the pot. After Claire insists her relationship with Kyle is secure, Audra may wonder if she can be certain of that.
Of course, giving Claire a watered-down version of events could come back to bite Kyle. It could be a mistake to leave Claire in the dark on the kisses Kyle shared with Audra and how he hovered over her half-naked in bed.
Even if Audra keeps her mouth shut about that news for now, The Young and the Restless spoilers say the real story of Nice could cause problems later on!
